What to Expect at Your Appointment:
During a dermal filler appointment, the product is administered with a series of injections in and around the targeted area. All dermal filler products offered at Trü Life Medspa & Wellness contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic that ensures a comfortable procedure. Most appointments last 30 minutes or less, and patients are free to resume their everyday routines immediately following their treatment. Common side effects may include minor swelling and bruising, which subside in a few days and can be hidden with makeup. TRÜ Life offers a line of post-treatment skincare and makeup that we will gladly apply after all treatments and help you decide on which products you would purchase for your home care needs. Results are immediately visible and can be long-lasting with regularly scheduled maintenance appointments.

Dermal Fillers 101
Juvéderm Ultra XC
Formulated with a thinner consistency to target mild to moderate wrinkles and folds, Juvéderm Ultra XC is also an excellent filler for lip enhancement. Results last 12 months typically.
Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC
Made with a thicker consistency than Juvéderm Ultra XC, Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC is used to target deeper, more prominent wrinkles and folds. It can be used to correct moderate facial volume loss, redefine and contour the jawline, and provide a nonsurgical nose job. Results last up to one year typically.
Juvéderm Vollure XC
Made for targeting moderate to severe wrinkles, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, smile lines and chin wrinkles, Juvéderm Vollure XC may also be used off-label to add volume to the lips and correct under-eye hollows. Results are long-lasting, and most patients enjoy results for 12 - 18 months.
Juvéderm Voluma XC
The first and only FDA-approved dermal filler that can instantly increase cheek volume, Juvéderm Voluma XC, can also be used off-label to add volume and/or definition to the chin, nose, and jawline. It may be used as a nonsurgical facelift alternative, with results lasting up to two years.
Juvéderm Volbella XC
Designed for use in the lips and surrounding area, Juvéderm Volbella XC, targets and improves thin lips, vertical lip lines, and wrinkles around the mouth. Results typically last up to 12 months.
Restylane
Although Restylane can be used for moderate to severe folds around the nose and mouth, TRU Life primarily uses this filler for eliminating under-eye hollows and dark circles due to volume loss. Restylane injections produce immediate results and may last up to one year.
Post Treatment Suncare
Post treatment sun protection and skin care is always a must. After your appointment or any time you may interested, the Trü Life Medspa & Wellness team can apply either our tinted or non-tinted, mineral based sunscreen to the treated area and explain the benefits of only using a mineral based sunscreen.
